Services - Commercial and Domestic EPC's
A Commercial Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) is intended to inform potential buyers or tenants about the energy performance of a building, so they can consider energy efficiency as part of their investment or business decision to buy or occupy that building.
How much will it cost?
Each job is different and involves a great deal of data gathering.
The cost will reflect this.
To give you a quick quote we need to know what the property is, approximate size, location and age. Any plans and specifications are helpful but not essential. We will give you a good idea of cost from one call.
Please feel free to give us a call, a qualified assessor will be able to give some guidance on cost.
What does the Assessor do?
To prepare an EPC the Assessor needs to compile detailed information
about the property, which may include: For EPC's:
- Detailed floor plans, elevations and sections of the building
- The use of the building and distribution of activities within it
- Details of the main fabric of the building, including its thermal performance
- Full details regarding the heating, cooling and ventilation of the building
- Details of the lighting in the building
This information will be gathered via pre-survey enquiries and by way of a full survey of the building.
The information is then analysed by way of accredited software to produce the certificate, with basic recommendations to improve energy efficiency.
The cost of each job will reflect the work required. Low carbon surveys will provide competitive quotes for all work.
We are based in the East Midlands but offer a Nationwide service.
